Dear Mike Bloomberg (that;s the mayor of NY for those who care),

You have many problems to fix. Teachers are criminally underpaid. Fire departments are being shut down. Cops are starting at 25k.
So then why do you insist on trying to shove this Olympics bid down everybody's throat? You would have figured that maybe, maybe when less than half the populace wants the damned thing, maybe, maybe when the good people of New York rose up to slam down the West Side money grab, you would get some sense.
But, you bring in the latest cheerleader (who thank god was in business and not cheerleader outfit) Condi Rice - someone with zero credibility in the outside world and the most boring commencement speaker in the history of commencemnt speakers.
I mean, how many times do you need people to tell you to stop? I understand, you are not a New Yorker, so let me spell it out for you :

"We are New York. We feel we are the greatest city in the world and the center of the universe. people flock to our gates. We have civic pride dammit. We do not need the Olympics to feed from Stuart Smalley bullshit about affirmation and feeling good about ourselves. We are not Salt Lake or Atlanta or even LA and well thank God for that. And if you don't like it, well all we can do is extend our collective middle finger to the rest of you

Something that makes me laugh : Gwen Stefani, Rapper wannabe. I mean does anyone think she is remotely convincing? I see her do that stuff in the video, makin like Lil' Kim or somethin, and I'm flabbergasted. Please, stick to the punk or better yet, go away you no-talent skank. I'd still hit it though. Twice

This just in : I still hate the Mexican National soccer team. Bunch of diving little whining savages who can't string together two coherent words with their toothless crackwhore mamacita hanging lazily on their arm. But enough about the fans

This just in part II : Isiah Thomas is still a moron.

Police briefly had to evacuate the Capitol because of a plane scare. I'm thinking, why let them back in? What the hell have these clodhoppers ever done for us. I see the oil interests represented, the pharmaceutical interests, represented, religious yahoos represented, Haliburton...I guess they're too damn busy feeding at the trough to give a rat's ass about the people's interest.
